Autumn On McCormick's Creek

McCormick's Creek lends its name to our oldest state park here in Indiana,
established in 1916, and bisects the park as it flows into White River
on the park's western edge. Along this tranquil stretch of water, by the horse trail,
I've painted one of my favorite Sycamore trees whose roots
grow in and out of the jagged limestone. October, 1999
