Beanblossom Bottoms

Having spent the day feeding in nearby farm fields, Canada Geese
return to their wetland refuge for the night in northern Monroe County.
Painted in the winter of 1998, the original acrylic was commissioned by the employees
of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service office, in Bloomington, Indiana, as a
retirement gift for their boss of 39 years who was instrumental
in the restoration of this wetland.
