Along a quarter mile stretch of Timber Ridge Road,
a few miles south of my studio, the Day Lilies are so numerous
they almost brush your car as you drive by.
In this setting was a striking contrast of sunlight and shadow where the
private lane breaks off the main road going back in the woods.
