Little Forsythia

Usually about mid-March, while the Indiana landscape is still bleak and gray,
the domestic forsythia bush is one of the most colorful harbingers of spring.
Common in lawns and fence rows they bloom with the greening of the grass
and often while there are still a few patches of snow. Not very big, but very bright,
I found this one in someone's lawn just north of Spencer.
