Often after a summer rain the moisture still in the air creates
soft blue-gray colors in the distance that I have always found desirable
in a landscape painting. Add a barn with a little character and
a few wildflowers like Day Lilies, Queen Anne’s Lace and Mullein
completes an attractive Hoosier landscape.
