Silver Maples, Cottonwoods and Sycamores are the predominant trees
along the river banks around here. In the fall time they don't produce
the variety of color as the hardwoods up higher in the hills.
Here in late afternoon the low sun creates a strong contrast of light
and shadow at the public boat ramp on the
West Fork of White River just south of Spencer.
